systems, along with a new care system and a new network management system. This project

BBI saves project at eleventh hour, returns value-added results in record time
After a customer struggled unsuccessfully for more than nine months to implement a centralized VOD management system, a major vendor in the VOD market called BBI to bring the project to successful completion. Many other firms would view the client's desperation as an opportunity to over-staff the project and extend the delivery schedule to wring more revenue from the engagement. BBI was more interested in getting the client out of the morass in which it found itself while building a productive relationship. BBI quickly and efficiently assessed the situation, developed a plan, and with just 1.5 full time staff, led the system integration and project schedules to implement a centralized VOD management system across multiple sites for this major MSO.
In addition, they left behind a template for processes and techniques, as well as schedules and timelines that could be used by internal staff for future implementations.

With a very small staff, BBI created and implemented a centralized test lab with repeatable processes that one major MSO would use for years. BBI was also a partner with the client in keeping the staffing resourced appropriately for the varying workload. BBI and the client worked hand in hand on resource planning to keep the BBI resources to the absolute minimum level needed for effective functioning, unlike "big box" consulting firms that often assign unneeded and junior staff, using the project as a combination revenue source and training ground. The centralized test lab and test process BBI developed for HSI changes includes managing buy-in from key stakeholders. The lab has since evolved into a complete Engineering and IT change management system that significantly reduces the problems this MSO encounters.
